Base
The idea of founding Konred arose in the early 2000s as a result of the collaboration of partners from different niches of logistics services. As a result of a long cooperation, we have evolved into a company providing a huge range of services. We carry out cargo transport by sea, rail, road and air. The services of our company have gained momentum in a fairly short period of time, and we are trying to maintain this level to date. Our head office is located in Tallinn, Estonia.
For a long time we have been cooperating with companies the production facilities of which are located in remote regions, for example, in Asia. In this regard, we often receive requests to transport cargo from a manufacturer directly to a customer or to a warehouse on another continent. That’s how our main type of service was born – multimodal transportation, which is an excellent solution when it is not possible to transport cargo by single mode. Therefore, there is a need for a clear route, scheduling of the cargo arrival time and organization of transshipment along the route. Through multimodal transport we can carry cargo all over the world.
Konred transportes all types of cargo:
- general cargo, containers,
- various equipment,
- liquid bulk cargo, petroleum and petroleum products,
- bulk cargo,
- liquefied, gaseous goods,
- dangerous cargo,
- regime cargo (non-perishable),
- exclusive goods.
Since the transport of goods always entails the observance of certain transport regulations (especially in the case of international freight transport), the execution of documentation has become necessary. We assist in the preparation of SWB, CMR (International Consignment Note), transit and export declarations and other documents required for cargo transportation. All cargoes are transported under a contract concluded between Konred and a customer.
